ABOUT
"By now, it’s no secret that Filipino musicians are among the best to ever do it—whether it’s because of their technical skill, live performance, or genre-pushing songwriting, they’ve consistently earned recognition on the world stage. That goes for heavy music and metal, too. And right now, there’s a new name to add to the growing list of kick-ass Filipino talent: Arrow in the Quiver.
Having recently released their all-new single and music video “Enemy,” AITQ’s members—vocalist Benjo Agustin, guitarists Edgar Artiza and Ramon Gomez, bassist Euriah Clavio, and drummer Ralph Artiza—are kicking things up a notch. They’re pushing themselves to their creative and physical limits without stopping for a breather, all while boldly exploring uncharted territory in Vancouver, British Columbia."

Hailing from Vancouver, BC the all-Filipino band was formed circa 2016. Arising from the ashes of a previous pursuit initially intended to be a project band that did not transpire, it transcended to what is known today as Arrow In The Quiver. With defiance to being boxed in to just one genre, the band’s approach is incorporated with a diverse range of styles from metal, melodic hardcore, punk, hip-hop, reggae, thrash, deathcore, and groove metal, the band defies categorization. Their diverse musical palette and dynamic songwriting make every track unique while staying rooted in raw aggression and tight execution.
They’ve built a strong reputation on stage—opening for Slapshock at the Rickshaw Theatre, performing regularly across local venues, and appearing at festivals such as Maple Ridge’s annual AdStock, Winterfest, and the Alternative Waves Fest. They also landed the front cover of the Maple Ridge News for their standout performances. In 2024, they took home the title of Wacken Metal Battle BC winner, marking a major milestone in their upward trajectory.
Arrow in the Quiver’s catalog includes their debut EP Alpha and their full-length album INVICTUS, both available on all major streaming platforms. They were featured in Alternative Press’ 2020 Top 50 Rising Bands and profiled in PULP Magazine in 2025, further solidifying their presence in the metal scene.
With a new LP on the horizon, the band continues to evolve their sound and expand their reach—driven by creativity, intensity, and an uncompromising live presence.
